Fair Oaks Health Center

2014 FOHCnew

San Mateo Medical Center, in order to provide greater access to patients living in the Redwood City, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto areas, built Fair Oaks Health Center in the North Fair Oaks neighborhood of Redwood City.  The new 3-story, 36,000 sq. ft. facility consolidates the services from three clinics: Willow, Fair Oaks and Fair Oaks Children’s Clinic.  This consolidation permits the addition of provider teams and technological efficiencies enhancing the patient experience and improving the quality of care.  Perhaps the most important outcome of this transformation will be the provision of greater opportunities for patients with limited access to medical care.

As a result of this consolidation and building of a new clinic, we will be able to see more than 20,000 unique patients in the South County area, 1,200 more than received care at the three clinics.  There will be at least 75,000 visits in the first year, an increase of 5,000 visits, and this number is expected to rise to 85,000 visits within the first five years.  This beautiful new Center is now serving the community, but funds are still needed and we appreciate your continued support.
