The Foundation is interested in the health and well being of all the residents of our County and we want to eliminate any barriers that would keep any resident from receiving proper medical attention.

Current Projects:

In 2007, the Foundation donates $2 million dollars to fund two important projects at the San Mateo Medical Center:

  • $1,000,000 to help pay for a state-of-the-art CT scanner for the radiology department
  • $1,000,000 to help pay for an Electronic Medical Record system which will allows physicians and nurses to prevent medication errors.
  • Expansion of Healthcare Interpreter's Network
