How You Can Help

  • $25 will provide books for children at the Fair Oaks Children’s Center
  • $50 will provide blankets for residents of Burlingame Long Term Care home
  • $100 will provide IPODS for patients spending hours receiving chemotherapy at SMMC’s Infusion Center
  • $250 will provide 10 women with a prenatal instruction manual (printed in English and Spanish) and 10 newborn babies with a reusable bag stuffed with diapers, blankets and hand-knitted baby items.
  • $500 will provide pedometers for 50 overweight or obese children, so that they may learn how to incorporate physical activity, in a fun way, into their daily routine.
  • $1000 will provide outreach and important educational materials about family violence, what to look for and where to go for help, to over 400 community members.
  • $5000 will provide training for 5 Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention staff, so that they may learn the most current techniques on sensitive management of abuse victims.
  • $10,000 will provide a part-time Spanish-speaking, culturally competent Child Forensic Interviewer for the Keller Center for Family Violence Intervention.
  • $25,000 will provide Point of Care instruments, which allow Clinics in the Medical Center to do simple lab testing, improving patient experience and safety and providing faster turn-around times.
  • $30,000 will provide class materials, participant incentives and a nutrition-educator for a comprehensive year-long program, combating childhood obesity, to 200 children.
  • $100,000 will provide home visits for one year for frail elderly patients of the Ron Robinson Senior Care Center.
  • $1.5 million for digital mammography equipment to assure best possible outcomes for early detection and screening.
