San Mateo County Health Foundation is dedicated to building strong communities. Governed by an enthusiastic board of directors, we are dedicated to partnering with San Mateo Medical Center by providing a steady stream of funds that are used to support innovative and patient-centered programs in San Mateo County’s healthcare system.

We are a private, self-supporting 501 (c) 3 non-profit benefit organization. Our funding comes from generous and compassionate donors, including community members, foundations, corporations and civic organizations. We receive in-kind donations from community groups and supporters. The Foundation operating costs are largely covered by San Mateo Medical Center, so that donor dollars go directly to program.
